COVID-19 INDOOR SERVICE FACTS
CAUTION
Contracting COVID-19 and other viruses is always a risk whenever interacting with others in public. This risk is increased while said interaction is done inside. Those with compromised immune systems and the elderly are more susceptible to contracting COVID-19 and other illnesses while among others. Please be aware of these risks for you and your family, and make personal decisions accordingly.
ILLNESS
Please stay home from attending or serving at church when you are ill and/or are exhibiting symptoms of illness- in particular running a fever and/or coughing/sneezing.
HAND WASHING
Please wash your hands regularly. Hand sanitizing stations will be set up and available throughout our church.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
We have added services and have arranged the chairs in our auditorium accordingly to make social distancing possible.
Oregon mandates 6’ of social distancing between people outside of your household.
Those in attendance are encouraged to be mindful of social distancing and to take personal-responsibility for doing so. Let someone know if you’re uncomfortable with their proximity to you. Fellowship Church cannot police social distance guidelines.
REGISTRATION
Fellowship Church does not require you to register before attending. Children attending FellowshipKIDS are required to check-in under normal procedures.
Fellowship Church will not provide contract tracing information to any government agency out of respect for ones legal and medical privacy.
MASKS
The state of Oregon mandates that face coverings be worn by those 5 and up inside indoor public spaces, unless they are vaccinated and show record of vaccination upon entering- Fellowship Church will never ask to see someone’s private medical records and/or vaccination status in order to attend church. We feel this is completely inappropriate, discriminatory, and unethical for the state to require this of us and for us to require it of those who wish to exercise their freedom of assembly and worship.
Fellowship Church will have masks available in our lobby for those who would like one.
Fellowship Church cannot police face covering guidelines, and considers it inappropriate to ask about people’s private health matters if they choose not to wear a mask.
VACCINATION
As pointed out above, Fellowship Church will never ask to see someone’s private medical records and/or vaccination status in order to attend church. We feel this is completely inappropriate, discriminatory, and unethical for the state to require this of us and for us to require it of those who wish to exercise their freedom of assembly and worship.
ATTENDANCE LIMITS
The state of Oregon, no longer is mandating attendance limits on church services, only making “suggestions.” It still “mandates” social distancing for those who attend, so please read social distancing guidelines above. We will not turn people away from attending church, but will take into consideration adding more services if needed to maintain consistent social distancing.
