This past weekend, our church staff had the incredible opportunity to attend a conference hosted by a church in Los Angeles. It was a beautiful time of worship and growth.

I came home feeling inspired to create, which is a new feeling for me. I’m not creative or artistic, nor have I ever been. But do I use that as an excuse to not create? 1 Corinthians 2:16 says that we have the mind of Christ. Whoa! God gave us a mind like His. The creator of the universe gave me a mind that is capable of creating. And I would image it is a disappointment to Him when I choose not to unlock the full potential of my mind. Whatever genius ideas that He’s placed inside me are a gift to me but they aren’t for me. They are for the world. So I’m spending the week dreaming of what I can create in my ministry and my life and how I could make it happen.

Coming home from LA, I’m feeling refreshed and excited to see what God is doing in our city and ready to be a part of it.
