Atmosphere

Our services are casual and relaxed. We are a diverse church community of people from all backgrounds. So come as you are! You are welcome here with us to hear the Message of Jesus!

Children

We offer kids’ programs for children 3 months to 5th Grade at our 10am Sunnyside Services. We currently do not offer kids’ programs downtown due to facility limitations- children are always welcome in all services.

Our volunteers are selectively picked, background checked, trained and supervised to make sure that your children are well cared for while you attend our service.

If it’s your kids’ first time, register and check them in at the NEW stations before the start of the service, as their class will run the entire length of the service. Sign-In begins 15 minutes before the start of the service in the Lobby. You can leave your child in their class or the nursery 15 minutes prior to the service’s beginning. If you’ve checked them in before, please use the self check-in stations in our Lobby.

If your child has any problems while in the Children’s Program, we’ll have one of the Children’s Program page you during the service.

Worship

We gather together on the weekends to worship Christ corporately, as a community, through music and the teaching of God’s Word.

We worship with different styles of music, with various instruments, and varying volume levels- We believe that worship should be honoring to God and a joyful celebration to those doing so.

We invite you to worship freely however you feel comfortable. If you like to sing, that’s fine! If you don’t like to sing, that’s fine too. Everyone Worships in different ways and you will probably experience many of those as you gather with us.

Teaching

We believe that creative, clear, practical, relevant, and exciting Bible teaching is a key catalyst for life transformation through Christ- It enables us to grow in relationship with Him; helps and encourages us to connect in relationships with each other; urges and motivates us to serve our community; and most importantly, it’s an invitation to follow Christ, while encouraging Christians to share the invite others to do likewise.

Giving

Our church operates on the funds that God blesses and entrusts us with. God has revealed through His Word that these funds are to come from the tithes and offerings of the church’s people. We encourage sacrificial giving as a form of worship to the Lord and for the ongoing work of the Church. However, if you are visiting us for the first time, are still checking us out, or are not a Christian, then please feel absolutely no pressure to give. This is a privilege and a responsibility for Christians who regularly attend our gatherings and the members of our church. You can give online HERE.

Sacraments

FREE CHURCH observes two ancient traditions of the Christian faith: Baptism and Communion.

Baptism in water is a public proclamation of the personal decision you have made to follow Christ. Let us know on our app if you’d like to be baptized, and we’ll contact you to schedule a weekend to do it, as well as answer any questions you may have.

Communion is taken to remember Christ’s body broken, and Christ’s bloodshed for the forgiveness of sins. We observe communion most weeks while we worship through music, before the message. We invite every Christian to join us in observing it.
