Beginning April 28th, 2019, Fellowship Church will be collecting backpacks and school supplies. On the first day of school, collected supplies will be delivered to Battle Creek Elementary School- the elementary school in our neighborhood. We will also distribute supplies at our Back to School Bash on August 23rd, 2019. Any supplies left over will be kept on campus and given out through the year to families in need.
Since Fellowship Church moved to our Sunnyside location, we have pursued a relationship with Battle Creek Elementary School in an effort to show our support for them. They have no idea we are planning on donating these supplies and we are doing it purely to bless the children who attend there. More than that we do it to model Christ has for them. Colossians tells us to “work heartily, as for the LORD and not for men.”
We are asking for new backpacks and for district requested supplies. The needed supplies are listed below:

- Glue sticks
- Facial Tissues
- #2 Pencils
- Pink pearl erasers
- 4 oz liquid glues
- Student scissors
- Packages of standard notebook filler paper, wide ruled
- 12”/30cm ruler with 1/16” & 1mm gradation
- Good quality ballpoint pens- blue or black ink
- Loose leaf 3-ring notebook
- Standard printer paper
- New backpacks
