STAFF TUESDAY

-Pastor of Operations Ladina Dougherty

These last few weeks I have been struggling, just to be completely honest. I have been letting the things around me get in the way of the truth that I know and believe.

I sometimes get so overwhelmed with what is going on around me, I forget to look up to the one who has already given me the ability to overcome.

I know that:

1. God loves me.

2. God cares about what I am going through.

3 God will take care of me if I let him.

I have some really great people in my life, who have been speaking these things over me and reminding me of His truth.

Friend, if you are struggling today remember we serve an awesome God who loves us. I want to encourage you today, if you are struggling remember you are not alone. We have a Savior that loves us so much. I was reading the Bible and this passage of Scripture came to me, and it is exactly what I needed. Nothing can separate us from the Love.

Romans 8:35-39

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36 As it is written,
“For your sake we are being killed all the day long;
we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
