We at Fellowship Church want to wish you a Merry Christmas! We had powerful Christmas services and were blessed to celebrate this season with you all. As 2021 draws to a close we have been contemplative of what Fellowship Church has accomplished this year. In the midst of uncertainty across the world, we continued to see God provide through your generosity. Here are some things we accomplished this last year:

In December of 2020, we were able to raise enough funds to purchase a coffee cart. This cart has been used during Sunday Services, at youth group, and for special events. Over the last few months it has been undergoing renovations to maximize the space and efficiency! We were so excited to have it relaunched for our Christmas Services!

We hosted The Fellowship Network’s North West Regional Conference in May, and half of our staff was able to attend the Fellowship Network’s International Conference in July. Trina Wright has been leading a house church in her home located in Moore, Oklahoma. Our staff moved to a downtown office in April and we are planning and scouting for a location to start a downtown campus. We maintained a steady attendance in both our 10am and 5pm service. At our Easter services, we had approximately 250 attendees. We hosted an Easter Egg Hunt in downtown Salem; we were able to partner with 10 local businesses and serve 300 families. We served 200 families at our Trunk or Treat on Halloween. We hosted one semester of growth and community classes; serving 35 families.
During 2021, Fellowship Church’s This Generation Ministry flourished! Our weekly attendance has grown in both FellowshipKIDs & Fellowship Youth. We also raised enough funds to re-carpet a large portion of our FellowshipKIDs space. We will be replacing the old carpet in the first few months of 2022. In April we launched a Young Adults Ministry. They host monthly events and we have brought on directors for this ministry. Both our Kids and Youth ministry each hosted a summer camp for their students. Five interns started a year-long internship in September. This Generation leadership has grown by 10 new leaders this year. We also saw eight students baptized this year!
Fellowship Church has begun the process to start a private school. We will continue to work on this in 2022, with a goal of launching phase one by September 2023.We are looking into different options and facilities that could function both as a school campus and also used as a youth facility.

As we look towards 2022 , we are enthusiastic about the momentum we have going into this next year. We are asking for your continued support as we continue to improve our Sunnyside campus. This spring we will begin a community park installation and some outdoor recreation space construction; this will include a full, outdoor basketball court. We were able to purchase two permanent basket ball hoops in September. We were recently awarded grant funds to purchase, benches and picnic tables.

This summer we raised $5000 for Thiago & Dani Goins de Silva to purchase a piece of property to build a community center in Brazil. In total we raised $16,000 for Missions. In May we will be taking a team to Brazil; the goal of this trip is to see how Fellowship Church can support the ministry of Thiago & Dani Goins de Silva. We raised $8,000 for families in our community. $5,000 of that went to 20 families to assist during the holidays. Our pastoral counseling team gave away 100’s of hours of free counseling. In 2022 we will be implementing our new homeless outreach.

The biggest change here at Fellowship Church will be our rebranding to FREE Church- We believe that this name communicates who we are and the freedom we possess in Christ even more, and will be a great way to reintroduce our church to the communities we have church in, in this post-COVID world.

God has been faithful in providing and we are grateful that we have been able to accomplish so much with such a limited budget when so many churches are closing and pastors leaving the ministry. Would you consider Fellowship Church in your year-end giving, so that we can start the new year strong? If Fellowship Church is your home church, we would ask you to join in with our mission and vision by tithing and giving regularly to the work of this ministry. Your regular support will ensure that we can continue this work and advance the Gospel in our communities.

We hope you have a wonderful Christmas and look forward to seeing you in the new year;

Anthony Trask & Fellowship Church Staff
